LIAR-LIAR-PANTS-ON-FIRE!

Healthcare reform, you say! The only reform in ObamaCare is the reform school. That’s where Obama, his assistants, and the Merry Band of thieves in Congress belong, along side all the other liberal con-artists, swindlers, and liars.

One of the greatest swindles in American history is about to take place on Sunday when Congress opens up our mouths and shoves a bad bill to reform health care down our throats using bribery, intimidation, trickery, and maneuvers that surely would not be upheld as constitutional. The outcome confiscates our money, deprives us of our freedoms, but saddles the taxpayers of America, today and forever, with yet another entitlement that will balloon with time just as every Washington pushed entitlement has done since the New Deal. More importantly, it is being shoved down our throats by the representatives we sent to Washington to represent our views.

Our very American way of life, gone in a blur of trick maneuvers to avoid a vote on a bill that no one but the Congressmen and the White House know its content and bought by the Democratic leadership and Obama with bribes and goodies (and a good amount of extortion and intimidation) to the Congressmen who have been wavering.

Who are these weasels? The Hall of Shame includes:

Ben Nelson-Nebraska Senator (D)-a place of honor in the rostrum for his assistance in passing the Senate version exempting, at a great cost to taxpayers, Nebraska from the Medicaid cost increases al other states will experience by extending Medicaid to uninsured residents at the higher income threshold in the ObamaCare plan.

Mary Landrieu-Louisiana Senator (D)-another bribe reciepent for voting with Obamaafter securing a modest multi-billion funding for Louisiana for her constituents. Et tu Mississippi.

Dennis Kucinich-House member-Ohio(D)-not to miss the party, Dennis voted no before agreeing to vote yes. Remember John Kerry? Originally opposed to the bil because it did not contain a "public option", he found his way with some help by his tutor, Obama, on a ride on the White House private jet (Air Force One). Like the corporate bankers scorned for the use of corporate jets, Dennis must have felt at the top of the world until landing time and he had to make a decision. Do you suppose they opened the emergency door prior to landing to coax Dennis towards the right decision. Dennis, though, is an expert at screwing up health issues in Cleveland, must feel he has a grasp of the issues and before jumping agreed that a public option is on the horizon.

Nancy Pelosi-Speaker of the House-California (D)-In spite of public opinion against the health reform plan of Obama and the democratic congress, Nancy daily reminds us-Nancy Knows Best. She has pushed the bill forward against the will of the country, asserting that we must pass the bill so the American public can find out what is in the bill. She has commanded that we will like it once we see it and experience it. Go Bless Nancy! It is good to have a mother so out of touch with her children. Perhaps she whispered in Dennis's ear, next watch me cram single payer down everyones throat. Well, tell Nancy where she can shove it!

Harry Reid-Senate Majority Leader-Nevada(D)- Harry must have heard
the pleas of Dennis during the arm twisting on Air Force One. No
than directly after Dennis's announcement that, in spite of no "public option"
he confessed that he undertood that this was only the first step. Harry
announced that there will be a vote on the public option in the near future.

than directly after Dennis's announcement that, in spite of no "public option"
he confessed that he undertood that this was only the first step. Harry

John Boccieri-House member-Ohio (D)- he voted gainst the bill before he voted for it. His excuse-he is now happy that the deficit will be reduced and that the bill will cover an extensive number of his constituents. John, the new bill mirrors most of the coverage and deficit issues about the same. So what changed? Did you get some pork for your district. If not-loser!

Betsy Markey-House member Colorado (D)-Wee! This is fun. One day I can vote for and the next day vote against. Nobody will know what my vote is now that the bill will be deemed. Yes, Betsy, politics is fun. You never have to tell the truth and nothing bad happens to you. You voted against and then, with a little pressure, you buckle and go for a yes vote. Does it mind that your constituents and the American public does not care for the bill you like/dislike/like/dislike.....Well, hopefully you got something good from the pork barrel.

Bart Gordon-House member-Tennessee (D)-Sad Bart! He only got $100 million for his state of Tennessee. His vote must not have been valued very high. Imagine, though, he wanted some money for the state to help pay rural hospitals and health providers to care for the poor people. Hey, Bart, didn't the health reform promise to cover the poor and uninsured at taxpayers expense with subsidized premiums or even free coverage with the increase in income levels to be eligible for Medicaid ? Aren't these hospitals and providers going to get paid since these people will now be covered by health insurance? Congratulations American taxpayers, we get to pay twice so that Obama could secure Barts vote. Our hats are of to you Bart!

People of America, wake up to what is going on with this reform carnival. Remember the financial crisis.Bankers, investors, fund managers all accused of grave financial misdeeds. Transactions were obscured, the biggest crime often boiled own to a crime of not providing accurate information to their investors. Why should our politicians be held to a lower standard than we hold our business community and financial community to.

What is the difference between Obama and Madoff? Not much! The both swindle Americans out of their nest egg, only Obama defers the pain to some generations years away-our children and grand children. Why? Obama wants a down payment on a future single payor system run by the same people who run our postal service, Medicare, and Social Security so well!

They both commit serious fraud with deceptive practices. Only Madoff did it for profit, Obama does it to save his ego and his presidency. It is his way or no way-pure ideology.

Can you imagine a president of the USA violating the constitution, bribing congressmen for votes (pay to play), using accounting that, if the US were a publically-traded company, rather than a government of the peopl, the accounting would be deemed a misstatement of accounts and a material misrepresentation, subject to sanctions by the SEC and oversight by the DOJ. Simply bribery rising to RICO charges would follow and the President would join Madoff and Jeffery Skillman in jail. But, this is the US and our politicians are immune from such charges in the conduct of their work. But, you get the point.

In a future publication on this blog we will attempt to outline the misrepresentations our president has made from the campaign trail to today with respect to health care reform. You will have heard most of them. What is important is to realize that our Con Man in Chief has kept us in the dark, manipulated the information, misrepresented his position and the bills before Congress and has ignored the will of the majority to start over. He is not listening to America, he must be listening to someone else. Whoever it is, does not represent me and the majority of Americans who say that we are not on the right track and that the health reform is not well thought out, too expensive, and fails to address the rising costs of health services.

Flood the White House with your calls in opposition. Blast e-mail every proponent in Congress with your views. Let them know you will get you revenge in November. Work to elect people who will repeal this bad bill. If you value your freedom and want a better future for America with lower deficits and reduced debt, let them know you intend to elect people who will not pass bills that do not withstand the scrutiny of the public and that do not reduce deficits and reduce the debt without resorting to the Congressional Budget gimmickry. Take back America, Now!

Promises, Promises-Obama makes um, Obama breaks um!

And it came to past, so said Obama, the campaigner! Or did it?

Obama proves it again, he is a great campaigner, but a lousy governor. Why would Obama, the campaigner, make such hollow promises. Not a single promise has been met! Does he believe in what he says? Does he have that much contempt for the average American that he thinks he could get away with it? Did he know that such talk would hit a Populist note and activate the electorate?

Maybe it is a bit of all these reasons. The promises reflect ideas that were popular with average Americans. He let Pandora out of the box. The ideas were so popular that average Americans are pursuing these ideas of a kind of good government they want. Obama promised, but did not deliver. Americans are now looking for people who they can elect to office who will deliver.

That is the essence of the Tea Party Conventions so derided by the liberals, including Obama. The Tea Bagging liberals want you to believe that the Tea Party movement is a fringe, radical element of the right. But the Tea Party movement has activated the populist notion of good government against a string of Obama broken promises. It has brought millions of Americans onto the street. Liberal media pundits claim these are angry people hectoring an Administration who put people first.

Nobody is buying their arguments. Judging by the elections results in Massachusetts, Virgina, and New Jersey, and the latest poll numbers for Barbara Boxer in California, the voters are not buying the swaggering Obama and his band of faeries. The wind of the voters have stirred the Furies.

We will see, soon, who is right. The ones who promise, or the ones who deliver. I'll but on the ones who deliver.

The Fix is in-Obama blames Bush in rallying support for Dem Candidate in Massachusetts!

Obama is at it again! Facing falling levels of support on his agenda, unable to point to one single accomplishment other than creating one of the largest deficits in recent history, increasing the debt levels to unsustainable levels, suppressing the value of the dollar, reversing the trend in an improving balance of trade, and losing the momentum in the economic recovery, all in matter of one yea. How does he respond? The same way he did during his two year campaign for the presidency, BLAME ON GEORGE BUSH!

When Americans voted Obama in, they were expecting change. Most of us were hoping for change in the better, not in the worse. We all had such grand "HOPE" and "BELIEF" in his Siren call for Change. No more business as usual. No more lobbyitis. No more dependence on partisan politics. Indeed, he called for the end of partisanism and encouraged the rise of bipartisanism in solving many of the problems left by the disastrous economic slump.

Not long into his presidency we witnessed a transforming event. Within weeks, bipartisan hopes were out the window. A $750 plus billion "bailout" in the guise of a "stimulus" program coined "TARP" provided the monetary muscle to nationalize a major portion of the Auto industry, effectively nationalize the banking system, take over the largest Insurance company in America. and send money to their favorite liberal causes.

Curiously, the overwhelming majority of the stimulus program would not be distributed for effect on the economy for over two years. What was doled out was the same ill-conceived stimulus program proved time and again to be ineffective as a stimulus, a rebate to American workers, a stimulus that again proved to be useless in moving the needle of the economic recession. Blame it on Bush.

Favors for the Unions were pushed by his eunuchs in the Congressional leadership. In the first 100 days in office, all that happened was a economic hangover. All the talk about change you can believe in was nothing more than "believe in my agenda, or else".

Without skipping a beat, Obama sold shares to public interest groups in order to move on his health reform package, but he let his eunuchs in the Congressional Leadership write the initial framework for the health reform bills. It was like letting the fox out to guard the chicken coop. The liberals had a hay-day pushing everything that more sensible Congresses had thrown out, in spite of majorities in Congress. It was there best chance to get government control of health care and hand it to the union bosses. No Republican input! Blame it on Bush.

The climate package past by the House over the objection of the Republicans ran into a Senate that begin to recognize that with health and Climate change on the agenda and a restive public, Democrat and Republican alike concerned with the growing debt and deficits and the awareness that our political class was out of step with Mainstreet, passage of these favored bills would be at the peril of member of Congress. Mainstreet, by a wide margin, views the two top priorities for the political class as JOBS and DEFICIT REDUCTION, not HEALTH REFORM and CLIMATE CHANGE/CAP AND TRADE. Blame it on Bush!

Undeterred, Obama continues to push Health Reform, selling reform to the highest bidding lobbyist or special interest in return for support. He has taken Medicare reform off the table and sold it to the American Medical Association, the American Hospital Association, the the Medical Insurance lobbyists. He took cost control off the table by cutting deals with those same organiztions and doling out goodies to the States, exempting the costs of the growth of Medicaid to a few select and crucial voters. No cut meant higher costs. Instead of reducing or making premiums affordable, he raised the costs to the many for the benefit of the few uninsured and charged the taxpayers. He bought the Union for a five year exemption in paying the excise tax on their highly lucrative health insurance plans, leaving the tab to all other insured , including businesses and their emplyees. 12 million people exempted from paying $60 million due to plans that would be considered high value. The 12 million includes none other than employees of local, state and federal government. The same group that, while the vast majority of middle class employees have seen little to no increase in their pay, if not actually lost ground, received above inflation-rate pay increases pushing their average pay to in excess of $70,000 per annum, well above the average pay of the middle class. Blame it on Bush

Compounding the pay rate for governmental employees is the unsustainable rise in the number of government employees. Big government has arrived with a vengeance like a good case of "Montezuma's Revenge" for the indiscriminate traveler, sampling anything they like regardless of hazard. Blame it on Bush!

So now, the public has been sending to the political class a clear message. Virginia did. Dodd retired becuse he could not win his seat again after decades in the Senate. Grogan woke up and found he was trailing in the polls, his solution, as with most cowards, quit. Men of principles, quitting when it got tough. There ego could not suffer the humiliation of a defeat. Blame it on Bush.

Which brings us up to today, in Massachusetts. A Republican is challenging, and has the lead, for His Highnesses Sacred Liberal Senate Seat, most recently held by the late Teddy Kennedy. We should take note, this is a referrendum on the Obama Agenda. The White House, and Obama, must agree with this assessment. The political bosses of Obama have dispatched him to "Speechify" and lull the voters of Massachusetts to the Siren call again, rallying the troops as he did during his two year march to the White House. Using the similar call to action, he pleads for support for his agenda by claiming that this vote will be the difference in achieving the long-sought after health reform, climate change, and, oh by the way, the long sought right of union organizing without the required democratic process we all enjoy, freedom of a vote yeah or nay. And to whom did he attribute all the problems of the country, the world, and his falling polls? You got it, BUSH! He is having to fix all the things that did not get done during the last 8 years in one year.

Now that is leadership we can believe in. That is the kind of leadership that children in the playground can be overhead saying trying to duck blame.

Listen up America, take back the country. Throw the bums out now. What we need is real reform, real change, real leadership. When you vote, Massachusetts, forget about Democrat vs Republican, vote for the person who represents real change that will give you jobs, reduce debt, and move away from ideology and demagoguery and elect someone who will not increase the deficit, but reduce it; who will not choke economic recovery with growth in government and punitive regulation, someone who will not spend us into bankruptcy "stimulating" the economy.
And, once he is elected, hold his feet to the fire. If he does not perform, throw him out. It is up to the voters to hold the politcal class accountble, letting them know that they have job security only if the listen to the voters. They are not free agents in Washington, they work for you and the district, state, and country you live in. They work for you. Fire them when they do not perform, do not just accept the crumbs off the table, take the table way.

Massachusetts, you have that chance tomorrow. We will all have that chance in November, and again in 2012. Do It NOW and FOREVER.

GOOD RIDDANCE, KENNETH

Remember, Kenneth, when you were in Kindergarten, how some of the kids would suck up to the teacher thinking they may be treated special if they were really, really, really nice to the teacher. Didn't work then, did it?

Then what in the hell were you doing back in the fall of 2008 forcefully arguing that all the financial chiefs should buckle under to the government's demands that the banks and financial institutions should take government money to ease the credit crunch. Were you thinking you will be rewarded in the future by regulators who may go softly on you and the organization? Didn't work, did it?

By December, your new friends in the government wanted to hear nothing about the possibility of backing out of the Merril Lynch deal. You said they forced you to do the deal against your better advise. Didn't work, did it?

When the public was outraged at the bonsus payments, you cried out that you and your organization had no hand in it, that it was done by someone else and that your friends in government knew all about it. Didn't work, did it?

In fact, you and your Board knew of the bonuses, it was part of the deal. Your friends in the government invited you to testify in front of Congress, only this time it was a new Administration, the Administration of the "Hopeful Messiah Obama". Barney Frank, Christopher Dodd and the band of merrymakers called the the democratically- controlled Congress were your new friends. It was payback time. Didn't work, did it?

Through the Spring and Summer, there was one lightening rod, it was you. If any CEO tried to wear the teflon coat it was you. Didn't work, did it? By mid summer, you did not need to know how to read tea leaves to realize you were toast.

Unfortunately, the great things you did for the little bank from the West when your little known east coast bank merged with Bank of America and you began an incredible run as a bank CEO. All that career, up in smoke over one last merger that would create a power house. Yes, congratulations on building a powerhouse financial institution. But, because of some serious missteps in this last acquisition, weak conviction, arrogance, and blame tossing, your successes have been blemished and you will be on the sideline watching as your company realizes the benefits of the Merril Lynch merger nd its large contribution to the earnings.

Oh, by the way, nice kiss-off pay. While your shareholders have seen there value drop significantly and will only recover over the next many years, you will be counting your $69 million exit pay. To bad your options are worthless. With some effort, you probably could have made a ton more money if you thought first about the shareholders and not about yourself. We at least are saved from that indignity, thanks to you.

With that, I say farewell, good-bye, and good riddance.

Lumpen Bureaucratiat

The American people will not accept the status quo when it comes to health care, we are reminded by Tom Daschel. Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank, Steny Hoyer toe the progressive line, insisting that the American people are demanding changes in the health care system. They want "universal coverage" for the greater good, a progressive ideology that justifies the redistribution of wealth and support changes for the many to benefit the few.

Candidate Obama promised to address the number one issue on the mind of the American public (they believe), the reform of health care, careful to avoid any link to the inevitable tax increase on the middle class that will be needed to pay for the reform, while hiding any semblance of a plan, in laying out grand principals: coverage for all with low cost high quality health care coverage. When pressed, he promised to rid Medicare of waste and abuse, soak the rich with a tax increase, and punish the health insurance industry by prohibiting sound underwriting principles. In short, increase the costs for the health insurance industry and redistribute the wealth to accommodate the reform of the largest component of the GDP, after defense, the health care industry. All to accommodate 5 million people who can not afford health insurance and to subsidize the health insurance for 10-12 million who make enough but chose not to buy insurance. To risk the health insurance of 90% of the population, 85% happy with their coverage.

President Obama, after countless speeches on health care reform, continues to lay out the same broad principles, quality health care for all at low cost. President Obama has left the writing of the legislation to the progressive wing of his party. Fearing a liberal backlash, he continues a pattern of ducking difficult issues needed for true reform so he leaves no fingerprints on a bill that may bankrupt America. A pattern of avoidance that can be seen in his Illnois Senate voting record, where he voted present more times than any other state legislator.

We are told health reform is good for business, for the people, and for the country. We are asked to suspend disbelief to support a reform that promises something for nothing. We can deliver high quality, low cost care to everyone and pay for it without raising taxes on the middle class (we are warned to be prudent consumers, that if it is too good to be true, it probably isn't). But if the President says it is true, we are to expected to be true believers.

We are also told that what is being considered by Congress is hog-wash. The Congressional scorekeepers have scored the bill passed by the House and have concluded the promise of savings is just that, a promise. It will never happen. Indeed, if passed into law, over the next 10 years the deficit will increase by 9 thousand Billion dollars (that's 9 trillion dollars, folks). This from a body that, according to a recent Rasmussen poll, 57% of the voters would throw out of office in mass based on their job performance. Now that is confidence in the Bureaucratiae. House polls in the 30% range of approval for the job they are doing, is paralleled by the ratings of Pelosi and Reid Even the President's rating has dipped below the 50% level, with more people expressing disapproval than voicing approval ratings for the handling of the domestic agenda. He still maintains a high level of support, in spite of the public's skepticism of his handling of the economy and the domestic agenda.

History is filled with inspired leaders, tapping the roots of discontent found in the masses, to overturn existing leaders, take control of nations, and impose their will on the people who made possible their revolutions. It is filled with the ruins of empires, masses subjected to progressive ideology, massive wealth distribution, chronic poverty, low productivity, and anemic economic growth. We have witnesses mis-steps in foreign policy lead by diplomacy by appeasement, the fall of prime ministers, the horrors of war in the name of ideologies.

One thing in common with the leaders of the 20th century who plunged the world into world war and isolated nations in a cold war lasting the better part of 40 years and Obama is that these leaders gained their positions by emphasizing progressive ideologies against the back drop of populist unrest. Promising a cure to all evils by the redistribution of wealth, demonizing business and their leaders, laying waste to years of progress by blaming the engines of growth for the disparity of income, and promising a new day. Isolation, trade barriers, appeasement with the enemies, were the norm, but underneath diplomacy was the bodyguard of lies. The most virulent of the populist revolutionaries made purges of the intellectuals, creating a more progressive intelligentsia. The masses, no better after the revolution, became the silent majority ruled by leaders who no longer needed to seriously respond to the will of the people, the progressives were in charge and they knew what is best.

The progressives had become the tyrants, the despots, the dictators. The people outside of the progressive elites were the tools to be exploited, to be ignored. The will of the leaders substituted for the will of the people.

Today, our leaders run the risk of marginalizing the vast majority of the population. the American people have voiced great concern about their priorities. Yes, they would like health care improvements. They would like to see the rate of inflation of the health care in line with the general rate of inflation. Since Medicare and Medicaid was passed, the medical care cost index has been above the rate of consumer costs in general. With the Government running over 50% of the health care system, cost increases have consistently been more than twice the rate of growth of the general consumer costs. Health insurance premiums have been consistent with the governmental inflation rates. There are a lot of reasons for the high rate of inflation, but the least important reason is general price increases, the more specific culprits are increased medical loss ratios (the medical costs incurred by the insurance companies exceed the underwriting standards meaning more use per thousand population, increases in input costs of labor and capital incurred by providers, increased medical technology costs for better diagnostic equipment, drugs, and procedures, and increased waste in the systems do to lack of controls), population dynamics, and the structure of the delivery system.

The American people have also strongly voiced their priorities. They told their elected representatives at town hall meeting after town hall meeting in August that Washington should be focusing on the Economy and jobs creation, the Budget deficit, and the country's mounting debt problem. Carbon credit programs, environmental programs, health reform, and the numerous tax increases to pay for all the progressive reforms should be put on the back burner until the country has returned to economic health, jobs have been created, and the deficits reduced. A plan needs to be in place to shore up the strength of the dollar, build financial credibility for our financial institutions, and create the environment that stimulates business formation and job creation.

Only the progressives believe that their "green" programs and their income re-distribution schemes are stimulative. They convinced enough hapless moderates to vote for a non-stimulating stimulus program. They believe, truly, that by providing a government option to the private insurance companies that the country will be able to reduce the cost of health insurance for the vast middle class and reduce the deficit. With competiton from a government option, the consumer will make rational choices and look for value for money. It will force the insurance companies to change their business model, give up underwriting standards, and meet the price the government program, supported by the healthy tax revenues from the new tax increases imposed on a shifting sand definition of middle class taxpayers.

Can we believe what they say? Remember, Congress doe not have a great track record on estimating future costs of their landmark programs. In fact, with all their experts and the geniuses in Congress at the time of Lydon Johnson's Great Entitlements explosion and the passage of Medicare and Medicaid, the trajectory of costs forecast for these two grand entitlements was hopelessly underestimated leaving the shortfall to be made up by the now taxpayers in the form of higher and higher payroll related medicare taxes and still facing the prospect of insufficient capital to cover the costs of the entitlement. With budge gimmickry practiced by both parties over the past two decades, Congress wanted to avoid the difficult decisions of yesterday for a future generation. We have now run out of generational time to pass the buck.

Remember the budget overruns with Medicaid. When originally adopted, the cost trajectory for future program costs were woefully underestimated. Congress stepped in and did what they do best, they passed the buck and changed formulas for cost sharing and sent the bill to the states, keeping the majority of the overruns off the Federal books.

In fact, we can not believe what Obama promises, there is just no evidence that Obama, Congress or the administration can deliver the forecasted expenditures, without voodoo accounting used by Congress to ignore outer years and time the changes to meet "targeted" budget goals, goals that bear no relationship to the real run rates that can be expected, run rates that Corporate America must rely on to get a true picture of financial resources need rather than budget gimmicks to obscure the facts and give a true transparency that we were all promised.

Take back your country. Let your senators and representatives know where you stand on the health care issue. Let Obama know that you expected to be heard. Let your friends and neighbors know that sweet talk and shallow promises by an emptied- suited President imposing his will on the American public will not fly. Spin, innuendo and incomplete facts and facts out of context just will not make health reform anything but a fiasco. When Obama talks of shared sacrifice, he wants you to sacrifice so he can share the benefits with those less fortunate, even at the expense of the 90% of the insured poulation and at the expense of those over 65 who depend on security and stability to make it through the days, weeks and months. Real reform will require everyone to sacrifice. Unfortunately, Obama's plan does not address real reform, it does not give a path that is credible on changing how we cover our entitlements, how costs will be reduced, and how reform can be achieved when he has cut deals that minimize the cost reductions from the largest elements of the health care system, the physicians, hospitals, and the insurance industry, the very industry he wants to destroy.

It is not hard to understand why there are skeptics. It is even harder to understand why Washington does not get it.
